In “Aries sky” I delve into the mystical realm of the zodiac sign Aries, capturing its essence through a dreamy sky-scape rendered in a fusion of watercolors and pastels. Drawing inspiration from the fierce determination and unwavering resolve of the Aries soul, I ignite the canvas with fiery hues and bold brushstrokes. With impulsive dynamic hues and shapes, I draw the viewer into the colorful rhythmic play of the energetic Aries dance.
This is an original painting created on a 9” x 12” paper with an unpainted border of around ⅜”. The paper I use is Arches heavy weight 140lb cold-pressed watercolor paper designed for the watercolor techniques I use. Keep in mind, slight warping of the paper is normal for watercolor and does not affect the presentation of the piece once framed. I believe using the highest quality materials for each of my paintings for beautiful vibrant colors that are long-lasting for generations to come.
