In “Pisces sky” I delve into the mystical realm of the zodiac sign Pisces, capturing its essence through a dreamy sky-scape rendered in a fusion of watercolors and pastels. Inspired by the colorful, yet ever changing reflections of water, this piece is a rippling dance; portraying the fluidity and depth of the Piscean waters. Adding a hint of romantic touches of pink and soft blue with a mystical flare of deep blues and greens to create a reflection of the boundless expanse of the Pisces imagination.
This is an original painting created on a 9” x 12” paper with an unpainted border of around ⅜”. The paper I use is Arches heavy weight 140lb cold-pressed watercolor paper designed for the watercolor techniques I use. Keep in mind, slight warping of the paper is normal for watercolor and does not affect the presentation of the piece once framed. I believe using the highest quality materials for each of my paintings for beautiful vibrant colors that are long-lasting for generations to come.
