Cancer Sky

$200.00

Cancerian song

A delicate lullaby

Of harmonic tears

In “Cancer Sky” I delve into the mystical realm of the zodiac sign Cancer, capturing its essence through a dreamy sky-scape rendered in a fusion of watercolors and pastels. This painting I wanted to create a gentle glow  nurtured by an emotional depth though blending of light pink peddles among a soft aqua blue landscape. Ripples of greens, blues, and pinks dance delicately across the heartstrings of the Cancerian soul.

This is an original painting created on a 9” x 12” paper with an unpainted border of around  ⅜”. The paper I use is Arches heavy weight 140lb cold-pressed watercolor paper designed for the watercolor techniques I use. Keep in mind, slight warping of the paper is normal for watercolor and does not affect the presentation of the piece once framed. I believe using the highest quality materials for each of my paintings for beautiful vibrant colors that are long-lasting for generations to come.
